A great day!

A new future was set in motion today for Wood County and the State of Ohio! A project that will have that kind of positive impact for the future, 50 to 100 years, opened their doors to the public, the new CSX Intermodal hub in N. Baltimore.

Dog of the week – Chongo!

The summer season is in full swing and A Firm Foundation will be at Wildwood Preserve this Saturday for the Annual 5K Run. Joining us will be Scott Carpenter of the Metro Parks, along with others to be announced. Also Melissa Shaner of Toledo Botanical Gardens will join us to talk about the Crosby Festival of the Arts coming up just a week later.

It has been quite a week for the new Pocos Playhouse is Bowling Green, two extreme days limited the dogs outside time, to their air conditioned suites and dognasium. See the picture below of this morning’s group, it’s hard to get them all to pose for a group photo.

This Saturday A Firm Foundation radio show will return to the studio on Arlington for a show about Ohio. Mary McCleary from the Buckeye Institute in Columbus is going to be live in studio to talk about State issues, just as a two-year budget is about to be approved this month.

Dog of the week – Zak!

The first Saturday in June in Toledo, Ohio begins the neighborhood festival season, and it’s back to the Old West End Festival for their 40th edition and our 5th year to broadcast live from the front porch at Mansion View Inn on Collingwood.

Last Saturday after our radio show we went to Oxford, Ohio to work on our college rentals, school is out and all the girls graduated. Each year we take time to orientate the girls on routine chores around the home like cleaning the dryer vent. As you can see by this picture the message is not getting through.
