Off to Columbus!

Big events just keep on coming for N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts, last week Mitt Romney was in town, then the 2012 Radio Economic Summit took place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and now this week it’s off to Columbus for the beginning of the Ohio State Fair.

This Saturday is opening weekend, Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am. live on A Firm Foundation will be the Director of the Ohio State Fair, Virgil Strickler. Then Rick and Jackie will hear from the Ohio Farm Bureau, about the latest in news from the farm, like the drought, the EPA directive on water, and the new farm bill.

At 10:00 am. Matt Mayer will join R & J to discuss his new book about Ohio, “Taxpayers Don’t Stand a Chance”. This book is a good book about Ohio’s last 30 years of economic decline.

Classics on Main this weekend July 14, in Bowling Green, A Firm Foundation will preview new this year, “Electric Avenue” over 10 of the newest electric vehicles, plus experts from B.G.S.U. Electric Car Institute to answer questions about the transportation of the future???

Tony Palumbo from the Institute will join us shortly after 9:00 am. . . then right after 10:00 will be Snook’s Dream Car Museum, founder, Jeff Snook, to talk about the show, over 350 cars on display.
