Rick and Jackie will appear live on the Andy Caldwell show tomorrow from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. EST. The Andy Caldwell show is based in Santa Maria, CA. Andy has a daily radio show, writes columns for the local papers, and is the director for COLAB.

Three topics of discussion tomorrow, the 50th Anniversary of the Kennedy assassination, Rick and Jackie broadcast live last Saturday from Delay Plaza in Dallas, topic 2 Obama Care, the recent problems are just about purchasing health insurance, wait till you try to get treatments with Obama Care. Topic 3, Detroit, Andy visited Rick and Jackie in 2012 for a 2-day tour and 3 live radio shows about Detroit, now in bankruptcy, with an emergency manager, and recently elected Detroit’s first white mayor in over 40 years, Mike Dugan.

Then on Saturday morning Rick and Jackie host another edition of A Firm Foundation with lighter topics, folks from the Butterball hotline will join N. W. What a day it was! Here is a picture of Rick and Jackie interviewing Bob Huffaker, the first person in the world to televise live the first murder, Lee Havey Oswald being shot in the basement garage of the Dallas Police station November 24, 1963.   

Bob Huffaker was the lead reporter for KLRD radio/TV, CBS in Dallas that fateful weekend 50 years ago. Rick and Jackie landed yesterday at Love Field in Dallas about noon, eerily the same time President Kennedy landed at Love Field 50 years ago, and the weather was very similar to that day also.

Later in the day Rick and Jackie spent several hours at the home of Bob Huffaker, the lead TV reporter that covered live the Presidential motorcade, the scene from Parkland Hospital, Oswald’s murder at the Police headquarters, and the entire trial of Jack Ruby, convicted of murdering Oswald.

This Saturday a special 50th Anniversary commemoration on A Firm Foundation of the JFK Assassination,  Rick and Jackie will be live from Dallas, Dealy Plaza.   

Here are two pictures from their broadcast there in 2010, Rick standing on the spot in the road where the President was hit, and the 6th floor window in the Book Depository where Oswald fired the shots.   

Tune in to hear some special eye-witness guests to the event including  Hugh Anyesworth, author, “Witness to History”, and Bob Huffaker, author, “When the News went live”  

This Saturday on A Firm Foundation it’s all about your home,  “The Science of Drywall” with local senior expert, Dave Richards, explores all the changes in this important building product, and the finishing of the walls in a home, what everyone sees!     

In hour #2 it’s all about saving energy in your home today!  Carl Andre, local coordinator for Efficiency Smart, will be in to talk about all the great assistance available to upgrade to energy efficient appliances, lighting, and HVAC equipment.  Jackie and I took advantage of their programs and got rid of a 40 year old freezer that was still in use in our home.
