Break the record by 10 degrees?

That’s right, tonight may break the record for the coldest temperature for February 28, by a whopping 10 degrees, and Saturday is March 1. N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts will be live studio this Saturday regardless of the weather.

Joining us in hour #1 will be Jerry Regier, national spokesperson for Water4 a worldwide organization drilling wells in different parts of the world where access to clean water is a major health concern for the local population. Not only is Water4 drilling wells but they have invented new, inexpensive, and long lasting equipment to empower the locals to their own work, tune into hear about this unique project.

In hour #2 our California expert, Andy Caldwell we be joining us with some crazy California stories. The California drought, California poverty, and California regulations that make it almost impossible for people to do new construction of any kind on their own land. Many times these crazy ideas make their way to Ohio.

This week’s show – A messy spring?

Somehow we knew after the winter weather we have had so far, the transition to spring was going to be messy. But someday soon it will all be behind us, and new construction will take center stage.

This Saturday is the House & Home Show, at Seagate Center in downtown Toledo. The late winter show features many of the new products you’ll want to incorporate into your new home, or add to your existing home with a remodel project.

For the 13th year in a row, A Firm Foundation will be on the floor Saturday morning at the Gordon Lumber Design Gallery set to bring you many of the show’s stars, like Andersen Windows, Indoor Comfort Systems, and Enersol Insulation.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and Saturday on A Firm Foundation the topic will be love! Joining us live in studio will be local family councilor Susan Swayze. The mail focus for the morning will be on family love, and care of the elderly, and romantic love with do’s and don’ts for a healthy love life!

It’s that time of the year, #1 social event of the year Saturday night, the Annual Chamber Awards Dinner at the Bowen Thompson Student Union. N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts will be there live on Saturday morning, when the Committee is setting up for the big event and two feature guests will join us live on the show. Paul Walker, personal banker from Union Bank will try give us insight into credit and how it’s calculated? Some think it’s more secretive than medical records.

Joining us in the second hour is Wood County Commissioner, Dr. Doris Herringshaw. Dr. Doris has just completed her first year as Wood County’s second woman Commissioner, and she is working on several special projects including a new initiative in Wood County, “Good Jobs Project”. A project that works with people training for good paying jobs that don’t require college, and save people from running up debt for a college education.
