Kiwanis Pancake Day this Saturday at Bowling Green H.S. All the pancakes and sausage you can eat for just $6. Plus all the political people gathered in one place for informal chats before the election this Tuesday!

The lineup for Saturday includes, Wood County Commissioner Doris Herringshaw, State Rep. Tim Brown, and our Congressman Bob Latta, just after 10:00 am. plus others we may find serving or eating.

Hi Everyone, the end of October, ebola is on the decline for now, and elections are in the forefront! N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts return to the studio this Saturday with a line-up of political guests.

Joining us just after 9:00 will be local candidate for Lucas County D.R. Judge Lisa McGowan. Lisa has over 20 years experience as the magistrate in the court making her the best candidate.

About 9:30 joining us will be the Secretary of State in Ohio, Jon Husted. Jon is going to talk about fair and honest elections in Lucas County and across Ohio. With over 600 hours to vote in Ohio, there is no reason anyone should not be able to vote. Jon has also created a model voting program for military personnel stationed around the world. This program is becoming a national model for military to vote, let Jon tell you all about it!

Just after 10:00 will be 47th District State Rep, and Majority Floor Leader in the Ohio House, Barbara Sears. Barbara is the house expert on insurance issues that we all face, Obama Care, and Medicaid.

Then batting clean-up about 10:30 will be candidate for Lucas County Commissioner, Kevin Haddad. Isn’t it about time we had some member of the political scene in Lucas County from the other party?

The school was allot different back then, today Penta Career Center has 29 courses of major study in the best and most professional learning environment in this part of the U.S.

Penta Career Center Saturday is hosting the Wood County Throwdown, in it’s culinary department. Five local chefs will be preparing their best to be judged by celebrity judges, all for the benefit of the Wood County Committee on Aging, the event starts at 11:30am., but A Firm Foundation Radio show starts at 9:00 am. featuring Penta Career Center Superintendent Ron Matter.
