So Far So Good

Friday, May 15th, 2015

This Saturday A Firm Foundation for Life will do our annual safe boating and safe on the water show.   This is the first time in the last several years when there hasn’t been a tragic accident and people killed before the show each May.    We don’t want to toot our horns, but this is the whole purpose for N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts.   People in this part of the U.S. just don’t realize the danger of cold water in Lake Erie or other local waterways.    Joining Rick and Jackie live this Saturday from Maumee Bay State Park will be our friends from the Toledo Power Squadron,  Sandusky and Port Clinton Squadrons, O.D.R.,  Coast Guard,  and maybe others?

The program starts at 9:00 am.   and can be heard locally on AM1470 WLQR,  streamed live at:  <talkradio1470.com> and also on I-Heart Radio.   Even if you don’t own a boat,  maybe you’ll be out with a friend this summer,  rent a canoe at one of the local liveries, or even ride the Jet Express?   What should you be aware of?

All this plus much more from N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts as Rick attended the Whitehouse Conference on Aging this week and looks forward to updating everyone just like sooner or later the weather will be warm,  sooner or later we will all be concerned about aging!
