“Not being able to sell your home,  takes away your freedom!”

Rick Metz  2008

As you can see it’s been a long 7 years since that statement was the rule of the market.   Finally most of the real estate sales today are from sellers to buyers and not from a bank or worse yet the Sheriff.    Joining N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts this Saturday on A Firm Foundation for Life,  will be local realtor with A. A. Green Realty,  Scott Estep.   Scott has rapidly become one of the new whizz kids at  A. A. Green and Saturday’s show will be full of information,  and maybe a few trade secrets that has made A. A. Green #1 in Wood County and consistently in the top 5 of real estate offices in all of N. W. Ohio.

The show begins at 9:00 am. . . and can be heard locally on  AM1470 WLQR or streamed live on the internet at:  <www.talkradio1470.com>   also remotely on I-Heart Radio.

This Weeks Show – State of the County

Friday, August 7th, 2015

Hi Friends,    When you don’t get home from the Republican Debate in Cleveland till 3:00 am . .  you are going to be behind.   But tomorrow live on A Firm Foundation for Life,   we have our own political event so to speak,  the 14th State of the County live from the Wood County Fair.    This year for the first time,  none of the 3 long serving commissioners remain,  tomorrow it’s Joel Kuhlman,  Doris Herringshaw,  and hopefully newly appointed Craig LaHote.

There is always allot to discuss about Wood County and life in general, beginning at 9:00 am..  locally on AM1470 WLQR,  and streamed live at:   <talkradio1470.com>  plus on mobile at:   I-Heart radio.
Pictured with Jackie last night from the Spin Room,  is one of our favorites,  Dr. Ben Carson.

How many times will it happen?

Saturday, August 1st, 2015

Coming up this Saturday on A Firm Foundation for Life,  if it has happened once,  it can happen again!   This is the basic rule of a flooded basement,  if nothing different is done on your drainage system.   Too many people clean things up and just put it back the same way,  the next time,  shame on you!  It’ll be all about floods and real solutions this Saturday,  and later in the program,  you hear all the hype about the “miracle of Ohio”.   Our senior economist joins us with some eye opening analysis,  is this the new normal?   If so what are the implications in the real world?   Building and selling houses,  cars,  retail,  jobs,  wages,  and upward mobility.   It’s unvarnished and accurate as only the nonpartisan George Zeller can attest to.

The program starts at 9:00 am. . .  and can be heard locally on    AM1470 WLQR,  or streamed live on the internet at:  <www.talkradio1470.com>   and for those on the go,  it’s the I-Heart radio app.

Attached is a most unusual solution to a backup of plumbing in the finished basement of a local home,  (not one of Rick’s),  but none-the-less it worked and kept,  “sh”  from spilling into the person’s home.
