Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 24th, 2016
We have allot to be thankful for,  and today at the Wood County Senior Center over 100, that are alone, were served a super Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings in a home environment filled with fellowship.   And yes, on the 40th anniversary of Rick’s checked pants everyone at the event was pleased to see that some things never change.  (see attached picture).

This Saturday on A Firm Foundation for Life Rick and Jackie again speak with law enforcement about keeping you safe for the holidays.   Just this week 6 law enforcement officers have been attacked across the country so violence can happen anywhere.   Joining N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts,  Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn,  and Lt. Joe Heffernan Toledo P.D.   This is a very important show with important information to keep you and your family safe during this holiday season.

The program starts at 9:00 am.  live and local on 1370 WSPD,  streamed live at:  www.WSPD.com and heard remotely on I-Heart radio.
Some people are off work on Black Friday,  Rick’s crew will be working at 601 Jacqueline Place,  trying to complete the roof,  picture attached.

Up to the roof!

Friday, November 18th, 2016

One week till Thanksgiving and no complaints about the weather. The nice weather has allowed us to make great progress on 601 Jacqueline Place, picture attached.
And since Thanksgiving is next Thursday it’s time to start thinking about gifts for the special person(s) in your life? That’s where Rick and Jackie come in . . . join us this Saturday for a serious, but fun discussion about special gifts for someone special. Joining us live in studio is the lady in Toledo that can make it happen, Lisa Barrows, chief designer, Barrows Jewelers, Toledo’s most trusted jeweler, for over 40 years. Lisa of course grew up in the store, and has the skill to create any jewelry you can imagine, and at a price you can afford. The jewelry is important, but so is the wrapping, and the presentation all work together to create an everlasting memory.
After the program there is only 5 weeks till Christmas.

The program starts at 9:00 am. . live on 1370 WSPD also on 92.9 FM. or streamed at: www.1370wspd.com or remotely on I-heart radio.

Here is the current picture from the construction site, crane will be there Monday to erect the roof structure, right now on the ground.
