Summer is shaping up to be both eventful and exciting here on A Firm Foundation for Life, after several weeks of very serious for “Life” topics it’s time for N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts to bring you events that make living here so special. June of course features the 51st. Crosby Festival of the Arts, with coverage on both June 10 and then the Festival coverage on June 24, Rick and Jackie highlight over 15 years of Crosby coverage. Then July Rick and Jackie take off for Alaska, not just your typical tourist trip, but a first hand report from the northern most settlement in North America, Barrow, Alaska, with the largest concentration of Eskimos on Earth, Saturday July 8th, then on Saturday July 22 in Toledo, the 31st. Marathon Classic, now one of the premier spots for the LPGA in the U.S. This Saturday Jim Decker will join us with a preview of the Classic, and highlight the more than $10 million for local charities raised during the tournament’s history.

Friday, May 12th, 2017Across the generations for 157 years Genacross Lutheran Services has been providing compassionate care for the people of N. W. Ohio. a mission that continues and provides services to over 3500 people every day! Joining Rick and Jackie live this Saturday in studio, Rick Marshall the head of this fine organization, along with Denise Gannon in charge of Post-Acute and Long Term Care will provide us a glimpse into the day to day care people receive.
