Tired worn out feet or happy feet!

By the end of the day do your feet hurt, and does this make you feel tired before it’s time? That was my problem for several months, even thought I purchased quality inserts from the local running store, by the middle of the afternoon my feet hurt and I couldn’t wait to get my shoes off.
My arch hurt so bad, just a touch in the right spot and I let out a scream. Jackie and I wondered into Foot Solutions just behind Chicflila off Talmadge Rd. and within a few minutes Zach knew what my problem was and an effective treatment for it, custom fit orthotics. To get me by for a few days Zach added an additional patch to my old inserts, even that gave me some relief. But now I have the custom orthotics and no more pain, happy feet all day long, what a great relief!

Zach is going to join us live this Saturday on A Firm Foundation for Life to talk about all kinds of personal foot problems and how he, and the others at Foot Solutions can solve them so you have happy feet all the rest of your days!

Tune into A Firm Foundation for Life beginning live at 9:00 am. on 1370 WSPD, or stream it live at: or remotely on your I-Phone with the I-Heart radio app.

You are never too old to celebrate a birthday, here we are with Ilse Thomas at her 91st. sitting to Rick’s left is Dr. Elfreda Rusher, now 101.

Carolina,   Mark Coggins, PharmD, CGP, FASCP.   Mark heads up pharmacy services for Diversicare,  which operates skilled nursing centers in 10 states.    Mark is an author of numerous articles about geriatric pharmacy practices.   He is on the cutting edge of deprescribing to improve one’s quality of life.

This maybe the most important program we have presented to help people improve their health in later years.  Rick and Jackie continually remind everyone that,  “they are responsible for their own health care”.   People need to ask their doctors why they are taking each and every medication!!!!     Join us live on  1370 WSPD beginning at 9:00 am. or streamed live at:  wspd.com  or remotely with the I-Heart Radio app. on your smart phone.

Fall is in the air and so is the Black Swamp Arts Festival

It appears summer has left us,  but cooler weather makes for a better Festival.   The 25th Anniversary starts Friday night with music,  then Saturday and Sunday all the fun will be happening on the streets of Bowling Green.    Tune in Saturday to A Firm Foundation for Life beginning at 9:00 am.  on  1370 WSPD,  streamed live at wspd.com or remotely anywhere on I-Heart radio app.

Two guests will be joining N. W. High & Dry

11 years ago this weekend it was a similar story in New Orleans,  with Hurricane Katrina,  now we see the devastation in Houston,  and we thank God here is N. W. Ohio we have never had a situation where we had to evacuate our homes and then lost everything we have,  home, cars, and personal belongings.    However, we have experienced times of high water,  and flooded basements.  Rick has addressed the issues of flooded basements  in residential house construction here in N. W. Ohio on a number of occasions.   The thing to remember first and foremost is that if has happened once?   It can happen again!   You can’t just put things back the way they were and not change something in your home’s drainage system, to prevent another flood in the future.

On A Firm Foundation for Life this holiday weekend,  Rick and Jackie will be speaking with their friend and fellow talk show host Andy Caldwell.   Andy has the #1 local talk show in the Central Valley of California.   Two topics will be front and center,  there is a serious movement underway in California to secede from the United States through a ballot referendum.    In this day of grass roots social media,  stranger things have happened.   Also up for discussion California 4-term governor,  Jerry Brown has been having climate meetings with other countries and entering the State of California into climate agreements with China,  and Germany just to name a few.

One might wonder how Governor Brown can recite the “Pledge of Allegiance?”

And lastly there will be some discussion about Harvey!

The program can be heard locally on  1370 WSPD,  is streamed live at: wspd.com or live on I-Heart radio with the I-Heart media app.

Pictured tonight,  the custom home Rick is building just south of Bowling Green,  on sandy soil and high ground,  still Rick has included a full drainage system,  with backup.
