Summer has arrived
Summer is here both on the calendar and with our weather. Blooms are abundant and we have been mowing grass twice a week. This Saturday on A Firm Foundation for Life, a holiday weekend, but not for N. W. Ohio’s most trusted hosts. Imagine owning a small business, then try to imagine owning two different small businesses in the same household. Hear about that Saturday as we welcome for the first time to the program, Lisa Palmer, owner Calico, Sage, and Thyme, a Bowling Green landmark since 1975, Lisa has owned it now for two years. Brett Palmer, owner, Jim Palmer Excavating, (JPX), since 1961, Brett has been doing this all his life, but the work today is much more complex, serious, and in many cases risking work. So Saturday you can hear about, flowers, tea, herbs, gifts, artist consignments, tractors, backhoes, excavators, mini equipment, dirt, stone, topsoil, sewers, and water lines. A full program with something for everyone . . . .
Rick and Jackie take their hats off to all who have served this Country, including Jackie’s father, Tom, all her uncles, and Rick’s uncle Herb a decorated WWII veteran still living in Florida.
A Firm Foundation for life is available on several platforms, Saturday at 9:00 am. or Sunday at 7:00 am. live radio, 1370 WSPD, streamed @ wspd.com remotely with the I-Heart media app on I-Heart radio, and on Facebook live @ “A Firm Foundation for Life”
